GRIH has asked all elected officials to sign the Taxpayers Protection Pledge (TPPP) to not raise taxes. The Institute also requested a 20 year Vision of how they wished to see twenty years hence. Those who signed the TPPP, or responded why they choose not to, are posted on the next page, as well as their 20 year Visions. Our most recent request is also included. Read them here. The American Insitute for Full Employment (AIFE) has been working with the Hawaii Department of Human Services to improve welfare and unemployment problems of this state. AIFE made a number of recommendations that already appear to be having a positive effect. Read it here . . . Paul M.
