My vision for Hawaii in 20 years is a state where development must pass rigid environmental and social impact tests. Hopefully it will slow down our growth. For my own district of Puna, I want to preserve our rural life style. I envision entrepreneurial small business operating out of home using the internet as a solution to our job problem. Our flower, macadamia nut and papaya industry with increased opportunities for global export.
