No More Racial Preferences
A Message from Dick Rowland

Dick RowlandThe advertisement below appeared in the Washington Times on June 8, 2007. That was the same day in which a group of protesters came to the building our office occupies. They were upset because we oppose preferences for or against those of certain ancestry.

We asked Ward Connerly, President of American Civil Rights Institute, if we could print the content. He approved. He also said we could sign on as additional endorsers and we have done so.

We now ask you to please do so as well. Please consider signing on to this letter as an additional signer by calling (916) 444-2278. Also ask as many friends as possible throughout the USA to sign on or visit and view the ad by clicking here.

National Leaders of American Civil Rights Institute Sign Open Letter to Congress
If Immigration bill is going to pass, amendment necessary to end cycle of preferences
Press Release from American Civil Rights Institute

Ward Connerly, Chairman of the American Civil Rights Institute, along with 25 national and local leaders in the movement to end race preferences, signed an open letter for publication in the Washington Times calling on Congress to exempt immigrants that might be naturalized by the immigration legislation currently before the United States Senate from receiving preferences based on race, sex, national origin, or color.

Michael and Me
By John Goodman

Michael Moore doesn't want me to see Sicko, his pro-socialist, anti-private health care documentary. If you know anything about health care systems, he doesn't want you to see it either. At least, not yet.

So far, the only people allowed to view the film have been reviewers who know nothing about the subject. The apparent theory is: get it reviewed by people unlikely to spot all the errors and omissions before you open it to more discerning viewers.

By Bob Jones

In the July 11, 2007 issue of Midweek, Bob Jones' column featured our own Michael R. Fox, Ph.D. and did a credible job of summarizing his take on the ongoing debate over climate change.

Michael R. Fox, Ph.D., the Director of our Center for Science, Climate and Environment, also authored an essay on the importance of the extraordinary history of the U.S.A. It was featured in the Hawaii Reporter on July 8, 2007.

-- Naturalist Charles Darwin (1809-1882)

“If we don't like the way Vladimir Putin treats Mikhail Khorokovsky, Boris Berezovksy and the other "oligarchs" who robbed Russia blind in the 1990s, maybe Putin doesn't like how we treated Martha Stewart.”
