WENDY FUJIMOTO
Special Advisor

Wendy FujimotoWendy G. Y. Fujimoto, a graduate of Wellesley College (BA) and University of California, Hastings College of the Law (JD), was born and raised in Honolulu (Punahou School) and is an inactive member of the California Bar Association.  Besides work at the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii, she also works in the Pension Group of the Tax Department of local law firm, Carlsmith Ball, LLP.

Wendy lived and worked in San Francisco for 13 years before moving back to Hawaii.  She has worked in the Human Resources Management field for the Daughters of Charity Health System, Dole Packaged Foods Company and The Gap, Inc. in the Bay Area and at Bank of Hawaii in Honolulu.

Wendy is married to George Fujimoto, Jr.  They have one son, Brett.  In her spare time Wendy cooks, makes wine cork wreaths and will be writing a labor column for Grass in Review.
