Barun Mitra
Mitra's writings on the environment, trade and technology issues have appeared in books, magazines and a broad range of national and international newspapers. He also edited a volume in honor of the late Julian Simon, Population: The Ultimate Resource, which was awarded the 2001 Sir Anthony Fisher Memorial International Prize for best book from a new think tank. Prior to founding the Liberty Institute, Mitra was a freelance journalist. He holds an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and a post-graduate degree in Marine engineering.
