E Hana Kākou

E Hana Kakou is Hawaiian for “Let’s work together,” and summarizes our underlying philosophy at the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii. We recognize the diversity of experience and thought that makes Hawaii unique, and E Hana Kakou expresses our desire to bring together these differing approaches to find solutions to the problems that beset our state. The Grassroot Institute of Hawaii has partnered with ThichTech Hawaii to produce a weekly video series, "E Hana Kakou," in which we bring together diverse guests to discuss topics relevant to Hawaii. The guests are interviewed by our very own Keli’i Akina, Ph.D., president and CEO of the Institute.
