New Liberty Website

October 15, 2008

A new website has been launched by GRIH member Dan Douglass. Hawaii Liberty Chronicles is dedicated to honest and open journalism with features such as audio and video presentation, a blog and discussion area as well as a store with books, DVDs and more for sale. Among the new site's innovations is a 'Live' video channel which features the ability to do live video broadcasts using streaming media technologies. There will also be a library of related video and audio programming.

"The new Hawaii Liberty Chronicles website is here to expose truth, submit facts and provide candid analysis to Hawaii and the world," explained Douglass. "We don't serve any political party and we feel like every one of us has the right to make up our own minds. We've got a lot of things planned so we hope people who are interested in freedom and liberty will visit the site," he said. "In my study of histories, I've found it’s ultimately truth and the message of freedom that stirs men, women and children to great actions. Right now Hawaii is at an economical, political and social crossroads that will lead to either further oppression of the following generation through more failed state regulations and theft-based, redistributionist policy or a change in direction to free and inspire the next generation with personal responsibility, entrepreneurialism and honest market-oriented solutions. It's my desire to see Hawaii Liberty Chronicles have an effective role in promoting truth, freedom and great actions.

Douglass is also a Policy Analyst for "Hope for Hawaii," a freedom and liberty oriented PAC. Douglass has written more than 30 opinion articles published through various media outlets recently and was also the Hawaii State Coordinator for the 2008 Ron Paul Presidential Campaign Committee.
