Mark Skousen

Mark Skousen is a professional economist, investment expert, university professor, and author of over 25 books.  He holds the Benjamin Franklin Chair of Management at Grantham University.  In honor of his work in economics, finance and management, Grantham University has named its business school after him.

Since 1980, Skousen has been editor in chief of Forecasts & Strategies, a popular award-winning investment newsletter (www.markskousen.com).  He is editor of his own weekly e-letter, www.worldlyphilosophers.com. 

Skousen has taught at Columbia Business School and Columbia University.  He has also been an analyst for the CIA, a columnist to Forbes magazine, chairman of Investment U, and past president of the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) in New York.  Skousen has written for the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and the Christian Science Monitor, and is a regular commentator of CNBC's Kudlow & Co.  His bestsellers include The Making of Modern Economics and Investing in One Lesson.  In 2006, he compiled and edited The Compleated Autobiography by Benjamin Franklin (Regnery).  His most recent book is entitled EconoPower: How a New Generation of Economists is Transforming the World.
