Honolulu, HI – a panel of international, national and Hawai‘i experts will gather at the Mission Memorial Auditorium on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm to discuss development, major infrastructure projects, transportation and offer solutions to traffic congestion on O‘ahu.
The American Dream Coalition (ADC) and the Small Business Hawai‘i Educational Foundation are co-sponsoring the conference that is free to the public.
Noted national and international experts, John Charles, Wendell Cox, Adrian Moore and Randal O’Toole will discuss transit-oriented development such as rail, the selection of infrastructure projects to stimulate the economy and increase employment yet reduce congestion and urban sprawl.
Hawai‘i experts U.H. professor Panos Prevedouros, U.H. law professor Randy Roth and architect Peter Vincent will focus on strategies to preserve O‘ahu’s cultural treasures, aesthetics and agricultural land.
