This has been an interesting election season, for a number of reasons–and one of those has been the rise of new parties to challenge the existing structure. In this episode of E Hana Kakou, Grassroot President Keli’i Akina interviews Les Chang, candidate for Lt. Governor on the Independent Party ticket. Chang, who is Mufi Hanneman’s running mate, talks about his political philosophy and his vision for Hawaii while also explaining the goals of the Independent Party of Hawaii as a different voice for the people of Hawaii.
