Attend Oahu, Maui events on ‘New Directions in Education’

Please join us this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 15-16, as education researcher Karen Gray speaks about “New Directions in Education,” at events sponsored on Oahu and Maui by The Grassroot Institute of Hawaii.

Gray, of the Nevada Policy Research Institute, will talk at both gatherings about education savings accounts for grades K through 12, which have the potential to free up schooling options in Hawaii.

Joining Gray as a speaker at the Friday gathering on Oahu will be Alex Teece, co-founder of DreamHouse ‘Ewa Beach Charter School, while on Saturday Gray will be joined by Gene Zarro, co-founder of Kihei Public Charter School on Maui.

The Friday event in Honolulu will start at 11:30 a.m., while the Saturday session in Wailuku will start at 6:30 p.m.
