Hawaii News Now reporter Steve Uyehara spent a few minutes on Monday, May 11, 2020, with Keli’i Akina, president of the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii, to talk about the institute’s “Let Hawaii Work” petition.
Akina talked about the need for balance between Hawaii’s legitimate public health concerns and the dangers posed in the long run by continuing to prevent Hawaii residents from getting back to work.
