I am the owner of Kelso Photography on Oahu. Last year was the best year for me, as an artist and business owner. I work with mostly tourists, capturing their memories while visiting the islands.
After the pandemic hit and our governor put in place the stay-at-home order, my business has come to halt. I’ve rescheduled most clients for the fall. My earnings for this year might be half of what they were last year. The summer is looking like hardly no work. It’s very frustrating and discouraging.
