Do you think you have a lawsuit? Send us your case.

The Grassroot Institute of Hawaii is not a law firm. However, if your constitutional rights have been violated by the government, we will try to help you find representation.

Grassroot has close relationships with a variety of public interest law firms that provide free representation to individuals and businesses whose rights have been violated by federal, state, or local government. This can include civil rights, property rights, equal protection under the law, and issues related to the constitutional separation of powers.

Please be aware that because these organizations provide free legal representation, they are not able to take all cases, nor is it a question of merit. Rather, they prefer to take cases that can create legal precedent.

If you have a viable case, Grassroot will do our best to find a public interest firm willing to represent you. If we cannot find one, we will talk to you about paid representation or how to get your story to the public.

The first step is to let us know more about your situation so we can evaluate your case and see if it might be a good fit.

Please start by filling out the form below.
